"Max & Mike on the Movies" was a 2 hour radio program that recently went off the air in July. Usually nestled in between 2 polarizing quasi-pundit shows on talk radio, Max & Mike presented a weekly call-in movie discussion show that was equal parts informative, goofy, and thoughtful. Like hanging out with movie-geek friends on a Saturday night discussing recent films and general film chat based (loosely) on a weekly theme. The film discussion doesn't usually venture to far into the fringe, but it's still a great way to revisit old pop culture classics. They say the absence is "indefinite", but I know better...
Anywho, they've recently started to post archived versions of the show here:

I definitely advise checking it out. There aren't a lot of tolerable film discussion podcasts out there, so this remains a hidden gem for me. I hope you enjoy.
Also, if anyone has any podcasts to recommend, please do!

Y'know, I listen to a lot of talk radio. If there's one thing I've learned: It's that the term "a face for radio" is a profound, ultimate truth. Never, and I mean NEVER look up a picture of that sweet sexy voice in the speakers...always a huge dissapointment.
